RiSA, the Recording Industry of South Africa is one of the organisations independent musicians will have to interact with in order to collect their royalties smoothly.

The main reason is mainly to get your own artist specific ISRC code. You can do this simply by registering on the RISA online portal. You don’t have to be a member of RISA to get your ISRC code though.
