NEWS: Yosh Announces Name Change And #CrowningDayEp Release

Mdantsane born, Grahamstown based rapper, Yosh announces that he will no longer use the stage name Yosh The Rapper. When asked why the name change the rapper stated that, “Due to the similarity of the name to a certain American rapper there are expectations and comparisons, this does not work with the image I am trying to build’’.

The project he will be dropping on Sunday the 23rd. #CrowningDayEp, will be a means to reintroduce himself as Yosh. This will be the rapper’s fourth independent release following the warm reception of his 2014 mixtape, The Yosh Ep, which garnered airplay on several radio stations including Rhodes Music Radio, Radio Grahamstown and Mdantsane FM.

The #CrowningDayEp will feature artists, YeYe, Ulu, and Excess. The production was handled by K-N9NE and X2DA?, and the mixing was done by Daniel Vorster. The mixtape will be dropping exclusively on TheBlacksmithed.com.
